At Ascor® Independent Wealth Managers, our logo is not just a design, it’s a visual testimony of who we are, what we believe, and how we serve. Every symbol in our logo represents something meaningful, crafted to reflect the heart and mission of our business.
Inspired by Faith
The design of our logo is based on a powerful verse, from Isaiah 40:31:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles...”
This verse has been foundational in the formation of Ascor. It captures our conviction that true strength — in life, in finances, and in leadership — comes from a higher purpose and deep trust in the Lord. Our identity as a business is grounded in Christian values, and the logo was designed to reflect this from the outset.
The Eagle: Soaring with Purpose
We instructed our creative team to anchor the logo around an eagle a majestic symbol of vision, leadership, and protection. But not just any eagle. Our eagle is depicted with wings spread wide, ready to lift, guide, and respond. This posture symbolizes our commitment to being proactive, not reactive, in how we serve our clients always prepared and attentive.
The eagle faces east. The east represents the rising sun the beginning of a new day, the promise of the future. This reflects our forward-looking approach to financial planning. At Ascor, we don’t dwell in the past but learn from it; we help our clients prepare for and build a brighter tomorrow.
The Scroll: Stewarding What Matters Most
Clutched in the eagle’s talons is a scroll, representing the assets and financial plans entrusted to us by our clients. This is a symbol of responsible stewardship a responsibility we take seriously. We protect, manage, and nurture our clients’ wealth with diligence and integrity, knowing that these resources often represent a lifetime of hard work, dreams, and legacy.

The Story Behind the Name Ascor®
When Ascor® was founded by Martin de Kock and Wouter Fourie in 2005, the vision was clear: to build a company that would outlast the individuals who founded it. A practice rooted in integrity, driven by purpose, and bold enough to imagine a new standard in financial services holistic, professional, and deeply personal.
But a great vision requires a name that carries its weight. Not just a label, but a legacy.
The name Ascor® was never meant to reflect a person it was meant to reflect a promise.
